I have another Real Estate pro tip for you today. So i was out with some clients today showing houses and all the houses i showed were owner occupied so the owners all left before we got to their house so i could show it. Everyone of these owners had set their thermostat somewhere between 82-88 degrees on a hot summer day. My tip to you, if you are trying to sell your house and you leave for the agent to show your house bump that thermostat on down to a cool 68-72 degrees. The reason for this is i don’t care how amazingly decorated your home is, how wonderfully landscaped your yard is, or how many upgrades the home has, the main thing the buyer is going to remember is how hot and uncomfortable the house was. You always want a buyer to leave your home with a positive impression and a hot house is never a good thing especially as it can lead to thoughts such as a poorly insulated home or the AC unit is inadequate.
